Shan Armed group warns of the peace process being terminated by the coup
The Restoration Council of Shan State (RCSS) has issued a statement on February 1st, saying that is why the Restoration Council of Shan State (RCSS) opposes the coup.
“The Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement (NCA) and the peace processes, in which the government, parliament, Tatmadaw, political parties and the EAOs are involved, may stop due to the coup.”
The RCSS will strive for federalism, democracy, and stands in support of the entire people.The RCSS calls on the relevant organizations to work together and solve the problem peacefully, in order to overcome the political crisis caused by the coup.
The RCSS is an Ethnic Armed Group which signed the NCA.
