More than 200 special police appointed for polling stations in Kayah State

More than 220 special police members have been appointed for the polling stations in Kayah State for the 2020 General Election, said Police Lt-Col Aung Kyaw Myint of Kayah State Police Force.

The Kayah State Police The police have recruited 225 police officers —220 members of special police and five auxiliary members for the 2020 General Election to augment the regular police force.

The appointed police members are to perform their duties in seven townships in Kayah State from October 1 to November 14.

The special police members shall enjoy a monthly salary of Ks-144,000 and a daily payment of Ks-1,800.
