165 soldiers from the military council, 30 members of CDF and nine civilians were killed in to the fighting between the army and the Chinland Defense Force (CDF) in Chin State from April 24 to June 10, according to a statement by the CDF.
A total of 123 soldiers, 45 CDF members and four civilians were wounded by the fighting.
It appears the Juntas forces have suffered heavy losses from poorly equipped CDFs who are with local made hunting rifles and shotguns.
Somehow they have resisted well-armed Tatmadaw troops with grenades, artillery and backup from airstrikes.
The fighting between the military council and the CDF has taken place in six out of 9 Townships of Chin State. Mindat, Kanpatlet, Phalam, Teedim, Hakha and Htantalan.
