Mohnyin University Students’ Union is collecting the list of university students who will not attend the classes when the university reopens.

Nine major subjects are available at Mohnyin University.

Currently, the Students’ Union will only collect the list of students majoring in English, said a student from Mohnyin University Students’ Union.

All first-year second-year and third-year English major students, will not attend the university, according to the statement.

The military council is planning to reopen the universities nationwide on May 5th.

Mohnyin University Students Union calls on the students not to attend the universities under the military’s slave education system.

The reopening of universities is aimed at establishing the governance of the military council and the SAC and wants to showcase the full operation of the government’s existence to the international community.

The Students’ Union has urged the students not to attend the university and teachers to continue doing the CDM so as to shift towards a better education system and continue the boycott the military’s use of the education system.
