Ousted Shan State Planning and Finance Minister U Soe Nyunt Lwin was arrested at an apartment in Yangon at night on March 5th for the third time since the February 1st coup.
The army also arrested U Ye Hlaing, Chair of the NLD Loilem Township. U Soe Nyunt Lwin shared the information on his facebook about the statements of the Shan State government, the Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM), and lists of those detained, and the formation of the Committee Representing State Parliament.
Security forces arrested around 100 people including Shan State Chief Minister Dr. Lin Htut, some Shan State cabinet members, political activists, anti-coup protestors and members of the now-defunct Union Election Sub-commission in Shan State since the military coup.
