Tai-Leng (Shan-Ni) Nationalities Development Party (TNDP) plans to run candidates in 27 constituencies in Myitkyina, Waingmaw, Mohnyin, Moegaung, Shwegu, Momauk, Mansi and Hpakant Townships in Kachin State.

The TNDP released the list of its candidates who will compete in the 2020 General Election on 30 July. Women have been chosen for 13 percent of all TNDP candidates. Youth candidates aged below 35 are 31 percent and candidates aged above 35 are overall 55 percent.
