The ruling National League for Democracy (NLD) secured all seats in six townships of Chin State and Kalay Township in Sagaing Region.
Of nine townships in Chin Stat, the NLD secured all constituencies in Matupi, Mindat, Paletwa, Kanpetlet, Phalan and Htantalan Townships in Chin State.
In addition, the NLD secured three seats in Haka Township of Chin State while the Chin National League for Democracy (CNLD) secured two seats. The vote counts continue in Teedim and Tunzan Townships in Chin State.
A total of 210 candidates from 12 political parties and independent candidates, ran for 98 for State Parliament, 63 for the upper house parliament and 49 for lower house parliament in the election in Chin State.
There are 332,698 eligible voters in Chin State.
The CNLD is a merger of the Chin Progressive Party (CPP), the Chin National Development Party (CNDP) and the Chin League for Democracy (CLD).
In addition, the NLD secured all five constituencies in Kalay Township in Sagaing Region.
A total of 61 candidates from 19 political parties ran for the upper house, the lower house, region parliament and Chin ethnic affairs minister.
