Kayah State GAD staff face temporary suspension for Civil Disobedience

The Kayah State General Administration Department has temporarily suspended two senior staff involved in the anti-coup protest and the CDM movement.

Kayah State General Administration Department (GAD) issued a temporary suspension order on two staff: the head of Loikaw District GAD and head of Nammalkhone Township GAD on February 11th

This is the first action taken against civil servants who joined the Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM) in Kyah State. The number of civil servants who join the CDM has increased day by day.

 

U Nyan Hlaing, head of Demawsoe Township General Administration Department filed a complaint against staff from the department for participation in the CDM. No action is taken against them till now.
