Authorities have released everyone who had been detained in connection with bomb blasts in Hakha of Chin State on June 5th, according to locals.

“All detainees have been released. The army said they were taken for interrogation They were forced to sign a pledge that they would not participate in the revolution in the future.,” said a local from Hakha.

Due to the bomb blasts on the evening of June 5th, the military council detained 61 persons—35 females and 26 males.

The military council released 28 detainees on June 6th, seven on June 6th, 22 on June 8th and four on June 9th.
