Twenty-eight of 61 people detained after bomb explosions in Hakha Township were released on May 6th, said a local from Hakha Township in Chin State.

Last night the authorities released 28 detainees after being interrogated. The remaining 33 are behind bars. I don’t know exactly why the rest are being detained. Most of those released are the elderly. The military council is still detaining the most of youth he added.

On the evening of June 5th, there were three bomb explosions in Hakha Township. Three from Hakha Civil Defense Force died in a bomb explosion in a house in Myothit ward.
