Two men, including an engineer stationed at a construction site in Gwa of southernmost part of Rakhine State were arrested for allegedly financing the PDF (People Defense Army), which is waging a war against the military SAC.
Two detainees are identified as civil engineer Ko Zin Moe Paing and construction worker Ko Naing Naing Aye, who were working on the construction site of Aung Mingalar Hall in Gwa, close to Irrawaddy division, were arrested under section 50 (j) of the Anti-Terrorism Act.
Engineer Zin Moe Paing was picked up by the police personnel in plain clothes on 19 February afternoon from a tea shop nearby the construction site.
On the other hand, Naing Naing Aye was arrested from his workplace on 19 February morning, informed one of his colleagues.
