U Soe Htet, a minister of municipalities and spoke person of Chin State, told to media the construction of comprehensive project of Kalardan Port which became the main route of economic and military of India and China and with regard to the project, the activities of AA had been supported by both countries at the news conference.
U soe Htet said “We have already conducted field trips over the East - Looked policies of India. The project has been turning into elven years. The field trip has been conducted after Aung San Su Kyi has met the prime minister of India. Geographically Chinese depending on voyage uses Kyauk Phyu deep-sea port project and India uses Sittwe and Paletwa deep-sea port project. Frankly speaking, both economic and military of the two-big countries were located on the route. The territory was not stable due to the military activities of AA. These activities also were interrelated with the support of the two big countries”.
Military activities of AA delayed bridge and road projects. Despise challenges, the projects were expected to implement as soon as possible to be convenience for trading.
U Soe Htet , Minister of Minicipal, said “ according to negotiation between Union government, the route will go around from Rikhawda , a boarder of india, to India and checkpoint will be built in Paletwa. After building checkpoint, machines and labors from India will be imported. Because of having such benefits, the project is hopefully to be finished quickly but in this moment the project was difficult to continue under military activities of AA.”
Having the project done, thousand tons of goods from Sittwe, Rakhine State, will be shipped and goods from central India will be shipped to East-Asia and Europe. Moreover, The Chin state will get both economic opportunities and tax advancement, said U Soe Htet.
The route is sixty eight miles from the sea-port project to the entry route of India and disruption over the project and detaining workers were committed by AA. The detained workers were recently released by AA.
