Karenni Revolutionary Joint Forces Capture Military Council Camp in Mese Township

Colonel Phone Naing, the Adjutant General of the Karenni Army (KA), confirmed to the Kantarawaddy Times on November 7 that the Karenni Revolutionary Joint Forces captured a Military Council camp stationed outside the BGF camp near Pantein village in Mese Township, Karenni State.

"It's a BGF camp, specifically the 1004 BGF camp in Pantein village. We captured a camp situated outside of that facility. The attack took place at 4 a.m. on November 7, and we obtained weapons and ammunition," stated Colonel Phone Naing, the Adjutant General of the Karenni Army (KA).

During the early morning of November 7, joint forces launched an attack on the location where the Military Council was stationed. It was reported that there were casualties on the Military Council side, and a significant amount of weapons and ammunition were seized.

Throughout the conflict, at least 11 individuals were reported killed, and many others sustained injuries among the Military Council forces. The joint forces of the Karenni Army (KA) and KNDF also faced casualties during the battle.

Amidst the fighting, the Military Council launched two airstrikes.

Since June 13, the Karenni Revolutionary Joint Forces have captured Military Council camps in Mese township and along the Thai-Karenni border, including Taung Hla, Me Ta Nwe, BP-13, BP-14, Nam Paung camp, and Mese police station.

During the November 7 battle, the Karenni Army (KA), Karenni National People's Liberation Front (KNPLF), Karenni Nationalities Defense Force (KNDF), and other revolutionary forces coordinated their efforts and launched a collaborative attack.
