Ethnic people in Mandalay Region may get share of budget

Mandalay Region government ethnic Shan Minister Sai Pan Saing said that he would try to get part of the budget that Mandalay based ethnic people demanded in forthcoming 2019-20 financial year.

He said that he would discuss this issue of getting about 400 million kyats demanded by ethnic people.

Minister Sai Pan Saing said that ethnic people living in Mandalay Region needed to do ethnic activities fully so he would try to get this required money to be included in the region government budget.

Ethnic Shan, Karen, Lisu, Palaung, Pa-O, Kayan and many others have settled in Mandalay Region.
