Attack on Junta's Arms Factory in Magway Region NUG Claims

Several resistance forces simultaneously attacked Defense Industry Factory No. 21, one of the Junta's arms factories, located in Magway Region on April 16. according to the initial battle report released by the Ministry of Defense of the National Unity Government (NUG)

At 9:00 am, the attack was executed simultaneously through collaboration between the People's Defense Force (PDF) and resistance forces affiliated with the Magway Region Command Office operating within the No. 1 Military Region.

NUG reported that resistance forces simultaneously targeted 20 sectors within Defense Industry Factory No. 21, a military target designated by the Central Command and Coordination Committee (C3C). The initial battle report also stated that the operation's objectives were met during the attack, and investigations into the extent of damage inflicted on the factory are ongoing.

During the operation, PDFs, in collaboration with the Magway Region Command Office of the No. 1 Military Region, the Magway Drone Armed Force, and Battalions No. 1, 4, 5, 8, 11, and 19 from Pakokku District, along with Battalions No. 3, 5, 6, and 13 from Gangaw District, and the Thakhin Hla Gyi team, unified their efforts to launch the attack on the factory.
