The Ye Guerrilla Force (YGF) released a statement that they conducted an attack on the residence of the 106th Infantry Battalion Commander and officers' housing in Ye Township of Mon State on the evening of September 18.
The Ye Guerrilla Force (YGF) fired two mortar shells at the residence of the battalion commander of the 106th Infantry Battalion and other officers' housing from the fence of that battalion.
The junta responded to the incident by firing at least five rounds, but YGF did not suffer any damage.
According to the YGF, the military council could sustain significant damage from the attack on the battalion commander's residence and the officers' housing.
However, the Guerrilla Force (YGF) has not released any details on the condition of the regime troops.
Following the military takeover, the junta’s military units, police stations, and departments in Ye Township were frequently targeted which caused huge losses on their side.
