San Maung Than, Narinjara — The Arakan National Party (ANP) candidate in Arakan State’s Ann Township Constituency says she is confident that she has the support of the public. “I have already received the public’s trust. I will talk about how to develop Arakan State. This will be the tenth time I meet with the people of Ann Township, but it’s the first time for the campaign. I have already rallied for support during the time the area was affected by flood,” said Daw Khin Hla Yi in an interview conducted earlier this month following the launch of her campaign.
Daw Khin Hla Yi, who is running against the state's chief minister U Maung Maung Ohn, says she is confident that she do well in the election because of her rapport with the public. The ANP campaign in Ann Township received a boost earlier this month with visits to the area by U Khine Pyi Soe from the party's Central Campaign Committee and ANP chairman Dr Aye Maung.
