Thirteen more influenza deaths reported

A total of 13 more deaths by A(H1N1) pdm 09 influenza have been reported in Myanmar over the past four days, according to Xinhua.

The total death toll rose to 56 as of Tuesday from 43 deaths previously reported on July 13.

From January 1 to July 16 this year, Yangon region registered the highest mortality rate of H1N1 seasonal influenza with 43 deaths.

In the meantime, four deaths were registered in Ayeyarwaddy region while two each in Bago and Sagaing regions, one in Magway region, three in Mon state and one in Kachin state.
