Resistance Forces Raid Police Station in Hakha, Chin State, Freeing Over 60 Detainees

The Chinland Defense Force - Hakha (CDF-Hakha) launched a bold raid on the Myoma (Main) police station located near Vawmm'Tu Maung Stadium in Hakha Town, Chin State, successfully rescuing 62 detainees, including 13 women.

The raid, part of a broader military operation codenamed 'Operation Rung', was carried out at approximately 5:30 AM on July 20, leading to the capture of the police station, according to CDF-Hakha.

During the operation, four junta-affiliated police personnel were eliminated, and a significant number of weapons were seized. CDF-Hakha reported that the 62 freed detainees comprised 13 women and 49 men.

CDF-Hakha has called on the public to support its efforts, emphasizing its commitment to continue fighting until the goals of uprooting the dictatorship and establishing a federal democratic union are achieved.

Since the inception of Operation Rung in November 2023, around 30 junta troops and 10 individuals assisting the junta's administrative mechanism have been neutralized, according to CDF-Hakha.

Currently, CDF-Hakha controls about 70 percent of Hakha Township and is intensifying Operation Rung to secure the remaining territories.
