Junta confiscates all belongings from sealed house in Beilin

The military council confiscated all the belongings from Naw Ayethida Myint's sealed home in Alulay Village, Belin Township, Mon State, the victim and locals confirmed to Than Lwin Times.

Her residence in Alulay village was cordoned off on September 19 after the coup council opened a case against Naw Ayethida Myint, who was on the run, under the Anti-Terrorism Act.

After that, on October 12, the military council came in four vehicles and confiscated all her belongings inside the house, including worn slippers.

Naw Ayethida Myint said that taking any property from a public home without permission constitutes theft and acts of terrorism.

The military council ransacked the house of Naw Ayethida Myint in July, sealed it off in September, and took all her belongings in October.

Due to her involvement in anti-military activities following the military coup, Naw Ayethida Myint has been charged with the Anti-Terrorism Act and is currently on the lam.

At least 90 local residences, including those of NLD MPs and party supporters, have been sealed off in Mon State since the military coup, and this is the first instance in which personal property has been seized.
