Local residents reported that junta forces conducted airstrikes on a clinic in Hnan Khar Village, located in northern Gangaw Township, Magway Region, on the morning of March 22, resulting in the deaths of 11 locals, including the family of the doctor.
Residents reported that the airstrikes resulted in the deaths of 11 individuals, including Dr. Mya Soe Aung, his wife Daw Khine Hnin Wai, who was pregnant, and their son.
A resident from Gangaw Township commented, "The doctor, his wife, who is a nurse, and their son are dead. The wife of the doctor was expecting a child as well. They had bad luck. Numerous others have also passed away. The death of the doctor's family is a significant sorrow for the community members."
Local residents reported that at 8:38 am on March 22, a fighter jet from the junta's Meiktila Air Force conducted airstrikes on the clinic in Hnan Khar Village, Gangaw Township.
A 500-pound bomb fell on the clinic, resulting in the deaths of both the patients and the doctor's family.
Alongside the three members of the physician's family, eight additional individuals were killed, including two women and five children, as reported by local news outlets from the Yaw area.
Hnan Khar Village is a sizable community located by the Magway-Kale highway in the northern part of Gangaw. The village's telephone and internet connections have been cut off.
Junta troops have often conducted airstrikes and set fires in the Magway Region.
