Locals and military sources said that Command and General Staff College in Kalaw township, where the military coup leader Senior General Min Aung Hlaing gave a speech, is on lockdown due to Convid-19 infections.

On October 2 and 3, the coup leader conducted various meetings with trainees of lieutenant colonel-level officers, public figures and business owners of Kalaw township and Aungban township in the lobby of the Command and General Staff College in Kalaw township.

There is a 700-bed military hospital and a medical unit for the troops in Kalaw township and Aungban township.
