Hla Myo Htut, a policeman who joined in CDM at Kale Myoma police station, Sagaing Region to protest against the military coup, was killed in a battle at Mingin, a spokesman for the Kale Myoma People Defense Force (PDF) told Mizzima.

However, the details of how he died during the battle of Mingin and the date of his death are not yet known.

The late CDM policeman had been an active part in Kale University Students' Union as a chairman in 2017.

The Kale University Students' Union on 15 September announced that Hla Myo Htut was honoured for his self-sacrificing spirit and dedication in the Spring Revolution by joining the people.
