CCDAC announces seizure of 6.6 kg of Heroin

The Central Committee for Drug Abuse Control (CCDAC) in Myanmar said on Sunday that authorities have confiscated a large number of drugs including 6.6 kg of heroin and a total of 89,300 stimulant tablets in the region of Sagaing in the country, MENAFN reported.
The seizure was conducted by a joint police force effort in the town of Indaw on Friday.
The heroin with a value of USD440 thousand was confiscated from inside soap boxes, the stimulants tablets had a value of USD297.666 thousand.
