The Bangladesh parliamentary standing committee on foreign ministry has recently formed a sub-committee to deal with the Burmese refugee problems , said an official report.
Bangladesh Parliamentarian Saifuzzaman Chowdhury has been appointed as the governor of the committee.
The parliamentary standing committee on Sunday recommended on continuing diplomacy with Burma to resolve the problems created by the Burmese refugees in Bangladesh.
Most of the Muslim refugees from Burma normally trespass through Puthiya and Teknaf of Bangladesh. Now the governor Saifuzzaman Chowdhury is scheduled to visit the refugee camps at Teknaf locality of Cox’sbazar district in south Bangladesh, added the official report.
Meanwhile the Bangladesh border authority has pushed back 344 Burmese nationals this month after their arrest in Bangladesh territory, said another report.
