Arakanese State Parliament Lawmaker, U Aung Mra Kyaw, left for Warsaw, the capital of Poland, on Friday to attend training that is sponsored by the Foreign Ministry of Poland.

Some 15 Burmese politicians, mostly from the NLD, including U Aung Mra Kyaw have left to attend the training, entitled “The Strategic Economic Needs and Security Exercise Programme ( SENSEP)”.

Replying to Narinjara just before leaving for Bangkok from Yangon, U Aung Mra Kyaw said that he felt excited because it is his first trip to a western country.

U Aung Mra Kyaw is a lawmaker of Rakhine Nationalities Development party from Sittwe constituency. It is the first opportunity for an Arakanese lawmaker to attend an international training since the 2010 election.

“I hope I can share knowledge gained from the training with other colleagues after I return. I can also utilize my experience for our state development and the construction of community building,” U Aung Mra Kyaw said.

A Burmese NGO named Mingalar Myanmar has arranged for him to attend the training in Warsaw along with the other fellows. The training will be completed on the 8th of September.
