Chiangmai — The detained opposition leader and democracy icon Aung San Suu Kyi is well but has lost some weight, according to an AFP report.
The Nobel Peace Laureate met her lawyer Kyi Win today for about 30 minutes at her lake side villa in Rangoon.

Concerns for the health of the 63-year pro-democracy leader is being expressed in opposition circles in exile and some believe she could be staging a hunger strike at her home where she has been detained for more than 12 of the last 19 years.
Dr. Tin Myo Win, her personal physician was also present at the meeting.
