Authorities in Monywa town of Upper Burma have rung the warning bell of possible flood on Friday evening as the water in Chindwin River rises far above the danger level.

Authorities have ordered residents living in wards and villages near the bank of the Chindwin River to move to schools far from the river bank, local residents said.
