Rangoon (Mizzima) – Ministers of the Rangoon Regional Government were sworn at the regional assembly on Wednesday.

Chief Minister Myint Swe, a retired lieutenant general and former chief of bureau of Special Operations, and other ministers took the oath of office to administer the Rangoon regional government.

Rangoon regional ministers:

1. Security and Border Affairs Minister : Tin Win (a retired colonel)
2. Municipal Minister: Hla Myint (a retired ambassador)
3. Education Minister: Nyan Htun Oo
4. Agruculture Minister: Soe Min
5.Energy and Electric Power Minister: Kyaw Soe
6. Finance Minister: Than Myint
7. Transportation Minister: Aung Khin
8. Religious Affairs and Culture Minister: San San New
9. Hotel and Tourism Minister: Dr. Myint Thein
10. Arakanese Ethnic Affairs Minister: Zaw Aye Maung
11. Karen Ethnic Affairs Minister: Saw Tun Aung Myint
