Maungdaw, Burma: The body of Abu Tayab (20), son of Nurul Hoque was found by villagers in forest Near Sensari Mru Para of Nasaka Araea No. 2 on November 24, at about 4 pm, said a close relative of the victim.
He disappeared on November 22 from his house. He hailed from Mizali Para (Thit Htone Nah Khwa Sone) of Nasaka area No.2 of Maungdaw Township.
He has an enmity with Noor Mohamed (30), son of Ali Akber of the same village. Three days prior to November 22, two cocks of Abu Tayub entered the vegetable field of Noor Mohamed and destroyed some vegetables. So, Noor Mohamed caught the two cocks and did not return it to the owner Abu Tayub. A dispute ensued between them and Abu Tayub went to the Nasaka camp and complained.
On that day, the Nasaka authorities summoned Noor Mohamed to the Nasaka camp, and he was severely beaten by Nasaka. Later, he was released following a guarantee from his relatives. Noor Mohamed also had to appear again at the Nasaka camp.
However, on November 22, on night, Abu Tayab was kidnapped by Noor Mohamed and was killed near Sensari Mro Para. But, the body was found after three days on November 24, at around 4 pm by villagers, said a friend of the victim.
Yesterday, the body was sent to Bawli Bazaar police station and then to the hospital. But the body was reduced to skin and bones. The killer is absconding.
