Teknaf, Bangladesh: Twelve Burmese nationals were pushed back to Burma by Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) on November 6, at around 2:00 pm, according to local people.

They were arrested by BDR from entry point of Shapuri Dip while they were entering the Bangladesh. They crossed Burma-Bangladesh border by a row boat. They were 5 children, 5 women and two men.

According to sources, the Burmese nationals came to Bangladesh for medical treatment.

They were identified as  Abdu Shukur(63), Md. Hamid (23), Daya Banu (45), Khatiza Begum (20), Nur Begum (53), Zura Begum(42), Ambia Khatun (45), Md. Noor (10),  Hussain Ara (8), Nur Fatama (7), Nur Alam (8), and Harun (9). They all are from Arakan State, Burma, said our correspondent.

They crossed the Burma-Bangladesh border at the time of border tension between two countries
