Burma’s security force hands over 10 Bangladeshis to BDR

Maungdaw, Arakan State : The sector level commander of Nasaka , Burma 's border security force handed over 10 Bangladeshis to Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) on April 7, following a flag meeting held in Maungdaw Town , says our correspondent.
Maungdaw, Arakan State : The sector level commander of Nasaka , Burma 's border security force handed over 10 Bangladeshis to Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) on April 7, following a flag meeting held in Maungdaw Town , says our correspondent.
 
Nasaka and (BDR) held the flag meeting in a cordial atmosphere in Maungdaw town, a border town in Burma . They discussed bilateral issues, including trespassing across the border, cross-border smuggling, and illegal arrests by forces of countries, border trade among other issues, a source close to Nasaka said.
 
Major U Min Soe, the Sector Commander of Nasaka area No. 6 from Maungdaw Town led the Burmese team, while an eight-member Bangladesh team was led by Lt. Col. Hassan Habib Khan of No. 42 BDR Battalion of Teknaf, a border town of Bangladesh . The meeting lasted four hours.
 
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Nasaka commander handed over 10 Bangladeshis to the BDR including two children. In the evening, the BDR handed them over to Teknaf police station through Mohamed Abdul Manan, a social officer of Teknaf upazila. All the Bangladeshis are from various upazilas of Bangladesh .
 
The Bangladeshis have been  identified  as Maung  Than Tha Yin (43), son of U Thein Tha, Maung  Aung Tha Sein (44), son of U Shwe Tha Ban,  Maung Soe Maung (24),  son of U  Kyaw Aung, all belong to Tansi Naya Para,  Shiffiqul Islam (26), son of Yunus Meah, hailing from Commila, Akas Meah (25), son of Nuzu Meah, hailing from Commila, Md Zas Meah (26), son of Abdul Batem, hailing from Commila, Md. Rofique (30), son of Sultan Ahmed, hailing from Sandanash police station of Chittagong, Md. Josim (30), son of Abdu Razak of Jessor, a source close to police in Teknaf said.
