Western Command orders sending youths for army training
Ann, Arakan State: The Western Command Commander Brigadier Maung Shien, on March 8, ordered authorities of four Townships' to send 400 youths over 18 for military training by the end of this month, according to a close aide of Nasaka Burma's border security force.

The order was issued to Kyauktaw, Mrauk-U, Punnakyunt and Maungdaw townships. The townships have to send 100 youth each for military training by March 31. They should be unmarried.
The commander also ordered exclusion of fire fighters, United Solidarity and Development Association (USDA) members and people's militia to Ann Township , where the Western office is located.
The Township Peace and Development Council, or TPDC Chairmen of the Townships are now busy recruiting youths for army training.
The authorities want to give the youth's army-attendant member training for future military service.
Regarding this, in Bawli Bazaar village tract of Maungdaw Township the concerned army officers including a Major and eight army officers from Buthidaung Town came to the place and collected a list of 60 Rohingya youth for military training.
