The Zomi Federal Union/People's Defence Force (ZFU/PDF-Zoland), Chin National Organization/Chin National Defence Force (CNO/CNDF), and Chin National Council/Chinland Defence Force - Mindat (CNC/CDF-Mindat) jointly declared the establishment of the Chin Brotherhood Alliance on December 30th, aiming to foster enhanced collaboration in both political and military endeavors concerning Chin State and Chin ethnic affairs. Notably, these three entities chose not to participate in the China Council Conference.

These three organizations have affirmed their commitment to exclusively align with the consensus policies of the Chin Brotherhood Alliance in addressing the affairs of Chin State and the Chin ethnic community in the future.

Furthermore, the three groups have vowed to collaborate in countering and responding to any provocations or hostilities directed at the member organizations of the Alliance, both on political and military fronts.

Moreover, the joint statement outlined that the three member organizations will engage in meetings with other entities and individuals who share common agreements with the Chin Brotherhood Alliance. During these interactions, they will coordinate and discuss matters related to Chin State, Chin ethnic groups, and the entire union.

On December 6th, the Chinland Council Conference took place at the CNF/CNA headquarters, with attendance from representatives of the hosting entity, 14 CDF groups, and representatives of Members of Parliament (MPs). Ultimately, consensus was reached on the Chinland Constitution and establishment of the Chinland Council.

Nevertheless, ZFU/PDF-Zoland, CNO/CNDF, and CNC/CDF-Mindat opted not to participate in the conference, asserting that the event did not adhere to democratic standards, lacked equality, and failed to represent and reflect the unity of the entire Chin ethnic group.

In mid-December, the Chinland Joint Defense Committee (CJDC) was officially dissolved. Subsequently, the three organizations united to establish the Chin Brotherhood Alliance, functioning as both a military and political alliance.

Officials from the Chin Brotherhood Alliance have confirmed ongoing discussions to align with the Interim Chin National Consultative Council (ICNCC) while actively addressing and reforming the identified weaknesses within the ICNCC framework.
