The Political Roadmap would be discussed and approved at the fourth conference (second session) of the top leaders of the ethnic armed groups that have signed the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement (NCA) , said Comrade Myo Win, a spokesman for the Myanmar Peace Process Steering Team (PPST).
The conference of the top leaders of the 10 ethnic armed groups that signed the ceasefire (first session) was held in Chiang Mai, Thailand in May 2019.
The fourth conference of the NCA signatories (second session) is scheduled for five days from March 29 to April 2.
The conference is expected to develop a new form of PPST, including a Political Roadmap for NCA groups, and to determine the military council's peace talks, PPST spokesman Comrade Myo Win said.
The Conference is being convened to solve political problems through political means, to find equal solutions in political dialogue and to protect the people.
