According to the sources close to the Burmese junta reported that raised of checking to passengers at gate is based on the fear of the ethnic armed groups and saboteurs with bombs.

Pa Ka gate is the main road to enter into Loikaw (Capital city of Karenni), and a set of Bawlake, Pasaung, and BP 14.

A Loikaw passenger said, “All are dead checked on this gate and we have to push our motorbikes to cross the gate.”

The Burmese junta with police had been checked the passengers who cross the gate in systematically, which is also checked the national identity card. No threatened in torturing, beating and injuring but shouting are badly faced, said a passenger who faced with the Burmese junta and police threatened when crossing the check point.
