Chin State Election Commission officials have been imparting training to select people on poll procedures, including guarding polling booths for the 2010 election.
"From June 13 to 15 training was also imparted on how to help voters insert ballot papers in Tedim, upper Chin state,” said a trainer from Zimpui Village.
"Especially they were taught to take responsibility for polling booths, how to line up a ballot box, before votes are cast and how to guide voters to insert ballots in the ballot box," he added.
There are 59 Tracts in Tedim Township and eight people attended the training from each Tract. The trainer will be on duty in each block during the election.
The trainer provided Kyat 2000 for each person for the training and trainees were enrolled by the Tedim Township Peace and Development Council (TPDC).
Similarly, people from 12 villages attended the training from June 18 to 19 in Tuibual village, Falam Township.
