Rathedaung, Arakan State : A man was arrested by Nasaka , Burma 's security force while on his way home after praying in a mosque at about 9 pm on September 4. He was picked up on the allegation that he went to a neighbours house, said a close relative of the victim.
The victim was identified as Md. Jobair (27), son of Rahamat Ullah, from Donsay Para of Rathedaung Township , Arakan State .
On September 4, Md. Jobair was arrested by Nasaka from camp No.21 , after Asher Namaz in the local mosque.
He was taken to the Nasaka camp, detained and tortured for extortion.
On September 5 he was released after he paid Kyat 30,000 to the Nasaka officer.
A village elder said "It is calculated harassment of the Rohingya community."
