Kayah State Government has still to be continued responsible tasks concerning proposals and questions decided by Kayah State Parliament, said Aye Maung chairman of Government’s Scrutinizing Committee for Guarantees, Promises and Acknowledgement.
There are 77 questions raised during emergency session of the Kayah State Parliament held on May 5th, 2013. Only 38 issues out of 77 were solved and 9 were still in process in the fifth regular meeting held on June, 2013. Even though, there were 30 cases remained to be implemented, Aye Maung said.
“Related to question and answers section, some parts of government’s guarantees and responsibilities to fulfill promised tasks are still remained” he said.
There are 95 questions and 13 proposals till the seventh regular meeting. For those tasks to be completed are asked again in order to carry out by Government’s Scrutinizing Committee.
The situation of remaining tasks will be informed in the eighth regular meeting that will take place during first week of September, said U Aye Maung.
Currently, the state government has also been pressuring ministry-wise to accomplish the respective tasks, said Po Yei Yan Aung Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Breeding husbandry.
“As for us, every department works as much as they can. Some tasks must be submitted to the Union Level”, he said.
In every state, as the majority of elected members of state-parliaments were appointed as ministers, the number of members of parliaments becomes shrinking and there were no adequate numbers to scrutinize respective ministries yet again, said Aye Maung.
