AA’s campaign in Rakhine State Has been Bolstered by Support from allies

On the frontlines of Rakhine State, allied troops from partner resistance groups are engaged in joint operations with the Arakan Army (AA), as outlined in the battle statement released by AA on January 8th.

The statement also revealed that members of partner organizations collaborated in AA’s offensive and capture of the Taungshay Hill tactical operation command in Kyauktaw Township.

During the operation to seize control of the Taungshay base, comrades from certain allied organizations actively participated,  as stated in the AA’s press release. The AA has not revealed the specific resistance forces that assisted in the operations.

Narinjara has received reports indicating that resistance fighters from certain partner organizations opposing the Military Council have recently arrived on the Rakhine frontline to join forces with AA. However, the exact number and the specific entities involved remain unknown.

Narinjara has also gathered information suggesting that additional resistance fighters from various partner organizations are expected to arrive, supporting AA in conducting further base-capturing battles in Rakhine State.
