Teknaf, Bangladesh : Six Bangladeshis were released by Nasaka , Burma 's border security force yesterday without a flag meeting with the Bangladesh Rifles (BDR). They were arrested while catching fish in Naff River near Burmese territory, according to Nazir Ahmed who was arrested by Nasaka.
They were arrested by Nasaka for fishing in Burmese territory.
They were detained in Burma . However, Nasaka handed them over to Bangladesh Rifles through the zero point in Teknaf, said a local.
In turn, BDR handed over the six to the Teknaf police station, for further inquiry and to send them to their destinations.
The victims were identified as Nazir Ahamed, (29) son of Sirazul Haque, Mohammed Razu Meah, (30) son of Zalal Ahamed, Khairul Boshar (18) son of Ali Ahamed, Shazan alias Rafique, (25) son of Abdul Gaffar, Mohamed Ali, (20) son of Abu Bakkar and Abdur Rahim, (27) son of Omar Khazi. They all belong to Nilla and Teknaf union.
