The Palaw Regional Defense Force (PRDF) official said the military council's propaganda documents were seized from the passenger express bus and burned.

Palaw Township and Tanintharyi Township were declared under martial law by the Regional Commander of the Coastal Region Command, and the next day, February 4, at around 12:30 p.m., this seizure was made.

A Palaw Regional Defense Force (PRDF) official said, “It's near Kade village. When the inspection team saw that the passenger express bus was hesitating and not moving forward, they asked the passengers to get off because it was suspicious. I won't tell you the name of the bus line."

It was discovered on an express bus during a casual inspection by PRDF troops on the To - Thingantaw - Kade Union Highway in Palaw township.

The PRDF official said that the driver and assistant of the car carrying the Military Council's propaganda documents were given a warning and released along with the passengers.

He added that the seized documents were burned near Kade village.

The PRDF has warned all passenger express buses, large vehicles, small vehicles and trucks traveling on the Myeik-Dawei Union Highway not to drive adjacent to the Military Council convoys, not to engage with them and not to transport their goods.

Similarly, on the morning of January 26, near Kade village, a passenger express bus carrying  food and ammunition of the military was alerted by PRDF forces firing a gun at the windshield.
