Number of COVID-19 cases in Myanmar increases to 201,274

The number of COVID-19 cases in Myanmar increased to 201,274 on Tuesday after 4,047 new cases were reported in the past 24 hours, according to a release from the Ministry of Health and Sports, Xinhua reported.

A total of 109 new deaths were reported, bringing the death toll to 4,036 in the country as of Tuesday, the release said.

According to the ministry's release, a total of 149,767 patients have been discharged from hospitals and over 2.89 million samples have been tested for COVID-19 so far.
