Bago Chief Minister issues warning on media to USDP youth members

The Chief Minister of Bago Region, U Nyan Win, has urged youth members of the ruling Union Solidarity and Development Party to be careful in their dealings with the media.

usdpAddressing 500 USDP youth members at a conference in Pyay Township on April 7, U NyanWin, advised them to choose their words carefully to avoid “falling prey to the media”.  

"Apersons’ reputation, good or bad, can spread quickly throughout the community,” U Nyan Win said.  

“You must focus on presenting your positive side and control yourself to prevent news of bad behaviour or manners spreading among the people,” he said, adding party members must set a good example for the people and the nation.  

In his address to the party’sPyay District Youth Representative Conference, the chief minister also criticised opposition parties for negative campaigning and for using the media to attack their political rivals.
