Mazda to launch authorized showroom in Myanmar

Inoue Hiroshi, Chairman of the Japan based Mazda Motor Corporation announced that they will launch an authorized showroom in 2014 with the the Cycle and Carriage Automobile Myanmar (CCAM).

The MoU signing ceremony between Mazda and CCAM was held on September 25. The CCAM will be the sole dealer of Mazda automobiles.

“I feel grateful that Mazda was able to acquire the CCAM as the sole dealer. We are launching an authorized showroom in the beginning of 2014 so that customers in Myanmar can make purchases conveniently”, said Inoue Hiroshi.

U Aung Moe Kyaw, Chairman of the CCAM said that the showroom will also have a service center where automobiles can be serviced.

“There is a high demand for Mazda cars in Myanmar. It will be convenient to fix cars if we have local authorized service centers and therefore, we are opening an official service center”, said U Aung Moe Kyaw.

The showroom will be located on Kabaraye Pagoda Road and the service center will be on Ywar Ma Road in Insein Township.

“The showroom will be launched in 2014 but the service center will be open by the end of the year”, U Aung Moe Kyaw continued.

CCAM is the sole dealer for Mercedes and Mitsubishi automobiles in Myanmar besides Mazda.
