Two killed, 10 injured in bus crash in Chin State
Two passengers were killed and ten others injured when an overloaded bus crashed due to slippery conditions on Indo-Burma Trade Road 2 on Nov.8 in Chin State.
The accident that occurred around noon happened near Tiau, between New Eden and Hmun Thar villages in Falam Township. One infant’s leg was fractured by the bus crash.
Accidents along this roadway are all too frequent according to locals. The buses are also often overloaded with passengers.
