Police of Teknaf police station recovered a dead body from the Naff River on September 28,.....

Teknaf, Bangladesh: Police of Teknaf police station recovered a dead body from the Naff River on September 28, said a local from Teknaf.

The dead body was drifted and reached nearby mangrove trees by tide water.

On being tip off, police personnel went to spot and taken dead body to Teknaf police station after rescuing.

15 Burmese Rohingya people were missing in a capsizing of a rowboat during a strong wind in the Naff River on September 24 and the dead body was among the missing the people as police did not get any sponsor of the dead body, a trader hoped.

Police sent the dead body to Cox’s Bazar government hospital for morgue autopsy.

On other hand, a Bangladeshi daily laborer, Roshid Ahamed 25, son of Nurul Alam from Boratali under Teknaf upazil died in the Teknaf land port yesterday while he was unloading timbers from a Burmese trawler which import by Bangladeshi border traders.

The Burmese timbers including other goods are coming to Teknaf land port from different parts of Burma by sea.

Police sent the body to Cox’s Bazar government hospital for morgue autopsy.
