Maungdaw, Arakan State: Regional Development Association (RDA) members distributed rice and money among flood victims recently, said a local elder.
On June 28, 40 bags (one bag is 50 kg) of rice were distributed among the flood affected people in Maung Nama village of Maungdaw Township. Besides, two exercise books per student were also distributed in the affiliated middle school in Maungdaw Township.
The RDA members had also distributed rice and money among the flood affected people in Buthidaung Township.

The RDA office was set up in Maungdaw Town last May with the support of the Union Solidarity and Development Association (USDA or USDP (USD Party) under the supervision of State Peace and Development Council (SPDC).
