Buthidaung, Burma: The UN World Food Programme (WFP) distributed rice among the villagers of Ka Gya Pet Kan Pyin village under Buthidaung Township, Arakan State, Burma on November 20.
The WFP distributed 10 kgs of rice and 1.5 litres of edible oil to widows and poor villagers. About 60 families were benefited in Ka Gya Pet Kan Pyin village (Monir Bill).
Besides, at the same day, ACE (Action Controller Fund) also distributed blended food to pregnant women and children who are suffering from severe malnutrition. It provided 5 kg of blended food per head. It has been distributing blended food to widows and children who are suffering from malnutrition for a long time in Buthidaung Township.
