“The border issues such as illegal border crossing- especially Rohingyas fleeing from their homeland to Bangladesh, smuggling of drugs and goods and Bangladeshi fishermen – were discussed to find out how to solve the issues,” the source said.

According to sources, the BGB Whykong outpost, of Teknaf Battalion No. 42, organized the meeting.

Ten BGB personnel participated in the meeting, led by Company Commander Nurul Amin, of Whykong BGB out-post, while 11 Nasaka personnel, led by U SeinTun, the  Deputy Commander of Nasaka  area  No. 4 and U KyawMyoAung, the Deputy Commander of Nasaka  area  No. 5, participated in  the meeting, an official said.
